Pacific Grove’s two new hottest spots apparently aren’t content to cruise on the substantial buzz they’ve generated of late. Dory Ford‘s got new hours and a winemaker dinner on the way at Point Pinos Grill (648-5774).

As we point out in a piece called “Sweet As Sunset” on newsstands now, Point Pinos Grill has earned new extended hours starting Dec. 1. Rather than shuttering ahead of sunset every day, the City Council has granted them the chance to keep the kitchen open later. They settled on keeping the kitchen open until 8:30pm Thursday through Sunday.

Ford also wasted no time in arranging his first winemaker dinner, with Bernardus, on Friday, Dec. 9.

The five-course dinner tees of at 6:30pm with a reception followed by dinner at 7pm. The five courses pair with Bernardus wines for $68 per person plus tax and gratuity, so expect the 36 slots to fill up.
