Serves 4.
Ingredients
1 lb Assorted Organic Figs
1/2 cup Almonds
2 Tablespoons Honey
1/2 cup Organic Yogurt
Fresh Cracked Pepper

First start by going to the Tuesday market on Alvarado Street. Stop by Inazana Ranch and Produce in front of the Golden State Theatre.

Hand Select a one pound assortment of beautiful tree ripened figs (I prefer the Panache Tiger, or the Prolific varieties). Also get a bag of Inazana’s perfectly roasted almonds. Next purchase honey from the honey vendors across the street. I suggest you try a honey that you might not be familiar with such as thistle or blackberry.

On a small serving platter or plate, place the 1/2 cup of yogurt and spread in a thin even layer.
Cut the large figs in 1/4′s and medium size figs in 1/2′s and place on top of the yogurt cut-side-up.
Drizzle honey over the figs and sprinkle whole nuts on top.
Crack fresh pepper just before serving.

Excellent as an appetizer or as a dessert!
